Today we are going to study
Comparatives are normally used to state superiority, when you want to say that something is “more” than another thing; however, you can also use them to mention relations of inferiority.
For example:
- He is less tall than you.
- Peter is less happy than Mary.
- Forests are less visited than beaches.
- K2 is less high than Mount Everest.
When
talking about inferiority, the structure does not change, it is always
the same. Use the structure “Less than”, to establish
relationships of inferiority.
