Lesson 5   Comparative adjectives (2)

6th C TUESDAY  24/03/2020
6thA WEDNESDAY  25/03/2020
6th B THURSDAY  26/03/2020

 Hello again!
Today we are going to study  .

Comparatives are normally used to state superiority, when you want to say that something is “more” than another thing; however, you can also use them to mention relations of inferiority.
For example:
  •  He is less tall than you.
  •  Peter is less happy than Mary.
  •  Forests are less visited than beaches.
  •  K2 is less high than Mount Everest.
When talking about inferiority, the structure does not change, it is always the same. Use  the structure “Less than”, to establish relationships of inferiority.
EXERCISE
*Write 5 sentences wiht comparative adjectives of inferiority in your note book.
Let's watch this video to sum up
Lesson 4   Comparative adjectives (1)

Big cars that use a lot of petrol are less popular now than twenty years ago.
